    Tell us about yourself (family, job, interests, fitness background etc.) Family man with 3 kids (all grown up & youngest just started college), FISHING is the biggest passion, love golf, softball, dancing, love to play the drums and love love love to play poker and take people’s money on a consistent basis LOL.

    When did you start training at Crossfit Echelon and what made you pick this box? I started Crossfit 11 months ago. My partner at work, Dave, was interested in it and got me to sign up with him. Best decision I’ve made in a long long time. Dave had done his due diligence and did the research and found this box to be one of the best around so we joined.

    What impact has CrossFit had on you in and out of the box? Oh man, it would take more than a few sentences to express the unbelievable changes it has made in my life. The biggest of which is the inner organs all seem to be so much stronger, that’s really why I joined. I have smoked for most of my adult life and struggled to breathe after just walking up my own homes stairs. Crossfit has made an impact on my inner organs the likes of which are unexplainable. Not to mention I have lost 23 pounds and am stronger and healthier than I’ve been in 20 years. I do not do this to look good, I’m too old to worry about what other people think of me and honestly I am one of the most honest, sincere, passionate, trustworthy and happy persons anyone will ever come across in their lifetime, I am TRULY here because I am getting old (51 soon) and want my inner body to be stronger than ever so I can enjoy my future retirement with energy and passion.

    What is your Favorite lift, movement, or workout? NONE! LOL. They’re all difficult, but I do like the power cleans if I had to pick something. There are so many different things we do here it’s hard to pick one or two. The cardio workouts are painful for me and my breathing but I would have to say I need those the most so any workouts that deal with cardio is a favorite of mine.

    What is your proudest CrossFit moment? Those moments never stop for me. Every day I show up to workout is my proudest moment. That will continue for me with no end in site. So every day is a good day and a proud day I am in the box.

    What are your goals for the next 6,9,12 months? I want to gain more strength and stamina, live life, be as happy as humanly possible, bring joy and laughter to others for I truly believe that is my calling in life, to bring joy and happiness and laughter to others, all the people that know me would attest to the laughter I bring them daily.
